Fort Capulet: A Breakout Multi-Instrumentalist Bringing Emo-Pop to the UK

30 November 2025

Rising multi-instrumentalist Fort Capulet from Germany has just wrapped up his first mini-tour of the UK, choosing Britain as a launchpad for what’s already becoming an intriguing career. Despite his long way home, he played five shows in four days, stopping in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London—including a spontaneous open-mic appearance that quickly turned into a crowd favorite of the evening.

A Debut Abroad – Why the UK was an Obvious Choice

Performing a debut tour in a foreign country was certainly a bold move for the German solo artist, but Fort Capulet sounds ever so confident about it: “It was an obvious choice, for the country’s vibrant music scene alone”, he told Hollywood Times Magazine. “The UK has always been good to me and it was a life-changing experience to meet and connect with so many talented people.” When asked about his favorite stop along the way, he just shrugged, seemingly unwilling to choose. He did hint at a preference however, remarking eloquently: “Camden is like a melting pot for lost souls. And I mean that in the best way possible, ’cause I am certainly one of them.”

Emo and Grunge, Reimagined for Pop Listeners

Making himself known for blending the grit of emo and grunge with bright, accessible pop sensibilities, Fort Capulet has begun carving out a sound that feels both nostalgic and strikingly modern. “There are so many raw and grungy inspirations to be found in my songs, but everything’s written with a broad audience in mind”, he reveals, offering a glimpse into his creative process.
His sets in the UK showcased raw vocal intensity, intricate guitar work, and a knack for hooks that linger long after the final chord. Among his originals, he also slipped in a few cover songs, giving them his own emotive twist and connecting instantly with new listeners.

Debut Album Arriving in Early 2026

His newly won fans won’t have to wait long for more. Fort Capulet is set to release his debut album in early 2026, a project that promises to expand on his genre-blurring style while highlighting his multi-instrumental range. “I’m recording, mixing and mastering the whole thing myself”, Fort Capulet elucidates while humbly looking down from his webcam, sitting in his studio in Germany. When asked about the challenges of self-producing an entire album, he opened up: “It’s hard. But moreso from an emotional standpoint. There’s a lot happening in my personal life that’s just draining my energy and I feel like that shows up very transparently in my music. Not sure if that’s a good thing.”

But if his recent UK shows are any indication, this album could cement Fort Capulet as one of the next breakout names in alt-leaning pop and rock.
