American singer-songwriter CARA is forging her own path in the entertainment industry with a unique blend of pop, trap, and classical elements in her music. CARA, formerly known as Cara Quici, grew up in the coastal town of Corpus Christi, where her interest in music first began. Following “BLVD,” CARA is preparing to release her next single, “TEARS.” This emotional track was written during one of the most difficult periods of her life, after the devastating loss of two close family members. While staying in Corpus Christi to manage family matters, CARA found herself overwhelmed by grief. One rainy day, filled with sadness and uncertainty, she channeled her emotions into songwriting. The result was “TEARS,” a heartfelt song that captures her inner turmoil and questions about life’s purpose. With vulnerable lyrics reflecting her sorrow and confusion, “TEARS” stands out to listeners who have faced moments of loss and doubt. While the release date for “TEARS” has not been confirmed, anticipation continues to build as fans eagerly await this special addition to CARA’s growing catalog.
The Kronicles is going to be CARA’s most personal release yet. Having started her creative process at Orb Studios in Austin in 2014, CARA recently returned to the studio to record this meaningful project. Unlike her earlier, more upbeat releases, The Kronicles features themes like grief, healing, and self-empowerment.
