Cinedicate Pictures to Launch Pre-Production of Sci-Fi Thrillers Gators in the City and Titanaconda in Spring 2026

19 July 2025

Los Angeles-based production company Cinedicate Pictures, led by its acclaimed CEO and producer Rockwell D. Sheraton, is set to begin pre-production on two highly anticipated sci-fi thriller films — Gators in the City and Titanaconda — in spring 2026. The projects are penned by emerging screenwriter Lum Arifi, who recently signed an option agreement with Sheraton, solidifying a promising creative collaboration between the producer and writer.

Rockwell D. Sheraton, known for his keen eye for genre films and commitment to bold storytelling, brings decades of Hollywood experience to the table. His decision to back both Gators in the City and Titanaconda has already sparked industry buzz, with insiders pointing to Sheraton’s reputation for turning fresh concepts into cult classics. This dual project marks a significant expansion of Cinedicate Pictures’ sci-fi portfolio, blending creature horror with high-concept thrills.

Gators in the City is a gritty, adrenaline-fueled urban survival thriller that imagines a dystopian metropolis under siege by genetically altered alligators. With themes of

environmental reckoning and chaos erupting in the heart of civilization, the film promises pulse-pounding action with timely undertones. The script reportedly combines fast-paced sequences with layered characters, exploring how ordinary citizens fight back against an unnatural threat that emerges from beneath their very streets.

Meanwhile, Titanaconda ventures deeper into science fiction horror territory, presenting a colossal hybrid serpent born from scientific tampering and military experimentation gone wrong. The creature’s awakening triggers a global crisis, with humanity forced to confront a mythic beast that challenges both nature and technology. With global stakes and jaw-dropping visuals, Titanaconda is set to be a spectacle-driven thriller for fans of classic monster films and modern disaster epics alike.

Scriptwriter Lum Arifi, who has steadily gained recognition for his original voice and inventive storytelling, expressed excitement over the partnership.

“Having both of my scripts optioned by a producer like Rockwell D. Sheraton is incredibly motivating,” said Arifi. “We’re creating thrilling experiences, but also embedding deeper messages that audiences will connect with.”

Cinedicate Pictures will oversee development, with casting and visual effects planning expected to begin shortly after the pre-production phase kicks off in 2026. Early reports suggest that both films will aim for international theatrical release, with interest from streaming platforms and distribution companies already brewing.

As Cinedicate Pictures gears up for a landmark year, all eyes are on the evolving collaboration between Sheraton and Arifi. If their shared vision delivers on its promise, Gators in the City and Titanaconda could be the next big hits in the sci-fi and creature feature arena — reigniting the genre with fresh blood, big ideas, and unstoppable beasts.
