Born in Brazil during the 1970s under a military regime, Rafaela’s passion for environmental conservation was deeply rooted in her childhood experiences living in the Amazon Rainforest. This formative experience ignited her lifelong commitment to protecting the planet, particularly for vulnerable communities. Her academic journey took her to prestigious institutions like Duke and Northeastern University, where she honed her expertise in environmental policy and international relations.
As the founder of RFM Productions, based in Los Angeles, California, Rafaela leads pioneering efforts toward environmental stewardship and social equity.
