While ushering in the holiday season—and a new docuseries—the Grammy winner is also celebrating her 36th birthday on Dec. 13.
Indeed, it’s an extra special time for Taylor, who—just over a month ago on Oct. 3—made history when her album The Life of a Showgirlsold 2.7 million copies in its first day of release, per AP, and went on to sell 4 million copies in its first week.
“I have 4 million thank yous I want to send to the fans,” the “Opalite” singer said, via Billboard, “and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was.”
In addition to her professional accolades, it’s also been a storybook year personally for Taylor, who got engaged to Travis Kelce in August.

As the duo, who began dating in 2023, revealed in a record-breaking Instagram post over the summer, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Travis actually proposed after he and Taylor filmed an episode of his and Jason Kelce‘s New Heights podcast.
“We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours,” Taylor recalled on The Graham Norton Show Oct. 3, adding that Travis had their backyard transformed for the special moment. “One of the things he’d put in there very strategically was a wall of hedges that weren’t there before.”
“And inside the hedges,” she continued, “was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there. He went all out—10 out of 10.”
