Born and raised in Germany, Wellingta brings an international world of influences to a sound unmistakably her own. Her African and Brazilian heritage meets Lebanese and European roots, giving her music a distinctive character that crosses cultures. She began singing and dancing at five.
Today, her blend of Afro swing, R&B, reggae and dancehall carries the warmth of 90s and early 2000s harmonies, with a personal story at its heart. Working and recording between Berlin, London and Miami, the independent singer-songwriter is building a creative world that already connects with more than one million followers on Instagram.
Every Song Begins with a Feeling
Wellingta writes about love, longing, faith and the things people struggle to say out loud. Her latest single, It’s Alright, introduces that world. An EP with AJ Productions is scheduled for release in 2027.
