The 24-year-old Nigerian American talent is a successful model, artist and also a holistic coach who is committed to igniting the fire within other up-and-coming models to be their best versions in the highly competitive and saturated fashion and modeling world.
She has been making waves in the fashion world with her natural charm, walking for prestigious fashion weeks across New York, London, Milan, and Paris, showcasing the collections of world-renowned designers such as Alexander Wang, Michael Cinco, and Anthony Rubio. From a student at the Parsons School of Design to gracing the cover of Grazia magazine in 2024, she showcases how she has come a long way in her journey to go so far ahead in the coming years.
Phoebe Kemi dived deep into the fashion world at the age of 18. Attending the Parsons School of Design in New York City, a top fashion school globally, she majored in Strategic Design and Management. This helped her gain a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry’s business and creative aspects, which laid the foundation of her successful career, equipping her with the skills she needed to navigate the complexities of the fashion realm.
Especially over the past three years, Phoebe Kemi has become a more familiar face on international runways, walking multiple seasons for high-profile fashion weeks. She dazzled in runway shows and global fashion magazines such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Forbes Central America, and Grazia. In 2023, she was also interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar, which cemented her status as a rising figure in the fashion world. This year, her Grazia Magazine cover feature marked another significant career achievement.
However, Phoebe Kemi says she soon realized there was so much more she could offer beyond the fashion world. After a rejuvenating trip to St. Lucia in July 2024, her quest led her to release her first book, “Model Essentials: A Beginner’s Handbook.” It guides beginners in the fashion space and aspiring models, providing them with practical advice, tips, and insights from her experiences. As an author, Phoebe Kemi aims to inspire and empower more young minds and educate young talents, offering them a guide to navigate the challenges and make the most of their opportunities.
She is more than what meets the eye; she works as a holistic coach, which complements her modeling career as she helps individuals achieve wellness and balance in their lives. Beyond modeling and writing, Phoebe Kemi has also ventured into the finance world as a life insurance broker and invested in cryptocurrency. Besides this, she is also in the early stages of launching her holistic beauty and wellness company. This venture aligns with her holistic coaching practice, aiming to promote wellness and self-care.
