Oscars 2025: Miley Cyrus Adds Polarizing Micro Bangs to Bleached Eyebrow Look at After-Party

3 March 2025

After debuting bleached brows at the 2025 Oscars, Miley Cyrus underwent a dramatic hair transformation and got micro bangs for the Vanity Fair after-party

Miley Cyrus can’t stop serving looks on Oscars night.

After rocking bleached brows at the 2025 Academy Awards on March 2 to present the prize for Best Sound, the We Can’t Stop singer switched up her look as she graced the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. (See all the Oscars arrivals here and click here for the complete list of winners.)

While on the way from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Miley got a haircut courtesy of Bob Recine. Upon her arrival to the star-studded bash with boyfriend Maxx Morando, the 32-year-old debuted blunt micro bangs that were snipped one inch above her brows and styled into wedges using Nexxus products.

She also changed her dress, swapping the her black Alexander McQueen halter neck gown for a strapless Maison Margiela number of the same color.

This year’s Oscars was not Miley’s first time at the ceremony—or presenting. The Hannah Montana star presented at the same show back in her Disney Channel days when she was just 15 years old in 2008.

And while Miley has never been nominated for an Oscar of her own, she earned a whole lot of critical acclaim this award season for her song Beautiful That Way from 2024’s The Last Showgirl with Pamela Anderson, which was up for awards at the 2025 Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards.

In fact, the Party in the U.S.A singer has been putting her best fashion forward all awards season long.

Most recently, the star arrived to the SNL50 red carpet accompanied by her mom Tish Cyrus and boyfriend Maxx on Feb. 16 in a black, one-shoulder gown featuring a tuxedo lapel neckline. She complemented the dress with black heels, a smokey makeup look and an updo.

And while she’s returning to the Oscars 17 years after making her debut, she recently admitted that like her life in Hollywood, her fashion sense has also been quite a journey.

“‘Party in the U.S.A.’ was on an album that was designed around a collection that I had created for Walmart,” she admitted on Spotify’s Billions Club in November. “And now I’m the face of Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. It really shows the evolution of my career.”
