Born in Curaçao in April 1977, Pamela has developed a career that reaches far beyond accounting. Her journey began in the world of finance and accounting, where she has spent 27 years building her professional legacy. With a Master’s degree in Finance and doctoral studies currently underway, her professional expertise has continued to evolve alongside her experience. Today, she offers exclusive business consultation, management advisory and fraud detection services to a selective and exclusive clientele of corporations and individuals worldwide. But her story is about much more than business.
Turning Personal Success Into Purpose
In 1999, she started her administration office firm, which later branched out into a full-fledged accounting firm. Through the firm, she provided opportunities to many students and delivered extensive services through the reliable staff she had in Curaçao and Sint Maarten, with services also extending to Bonaire and St. Thomas.
In 2013, she founded her Children’s Foundation, creating a platform dedicated to empowering graduates and young people to believe in themselves and recognize their own potential. The Simply Masters Group of Companies now consists of the administrative/accounting section, the consulting branch and the Children’s Foundation. Pamela has always believed in investing time in the right place, where you can guarantee fruits and receive value for your time. For her, there is nothing better than investing time and energy in children helping them become the best version of themselves and contributing to the betterment of a country, city or community.

A Journey Into Public Leadership
In 2019, Pamela’s professional journey expanded into public service when she was appointed Minister of Health, Social Development and Labor in Sint Maarten. The appointment represented another dimension of her leadership one rooted not only in professional knowledge, but in service to people and communities.
This experience made her more in tune with people’s necessities and highlighted the importance of trust and vulnerability. When a population puts its hope in an individual, believing that this individual will make a difference, it is a huge honor and a heavy weight to carry. It was an unforgettable experience that made her grow as a more complete person, understanding that the unseen has more value than the seen.
Showing integrity even when people were not able to watch or hear was always her motto. The same principles with which she ran her business expanded when she was fulfilling her duty as Minister of Health, Social Development and Labor, as well as Deputy Minister of TEATT Tourism, Economic Affairs, Telecommunications and Transport during a challenging period such as the COVID-19 pandemic, when the safety of the country was the most important focal point.
Her humanitarian outlook has also led to her appointment as a leader from Africa Mundus Caribbean, further reflecting her commitment to connection, unity and the belief that people and communities are stronger when they work together.
For Pamela, leadership is not about status.
